Leah...... was an amazing server and attended to all our needs. I would highly recommend her as your server on your next visit .
We enjoyed our "two for one"breakfast on Tuesday. The Dublin Benedict and Eggs Benedict are our favorites. Even better is the service we get from Leah--she is the BEST!!!
We drive from San Diego JUST because of Leah. There are locations closer to our home, but they do not have Leah! She is the best, and we look forward to each visit.
Used to be a Hennessy's regular down in La Jolla... recently moved to Rancho near SJC. Have been to this Hennessy's a couple times now. Love walking around downtown, and this is a family friendly spot with great food and drinks. Watched the final four here today, and Tony was our server out on the patio. He was super friendly and offered some great drink suggestions! Definitely recommend stopping by if you are looking for a chill place to enjoy San Juan!
My husband & I hosted our 40th birthday here! We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience. We reserved half of the back patio and it couldn't have been more perfect. The manager Andrew was so easy to work with leading up to and the day of. He advised on best ways to handle food and bev with our 30+ group of friends. The day of Asst manager Mike was our coordinator and he helped to get things set up nicely well before our guests arrived. We did a taco bar and had an open bar cocktail hour with amazing service by Tony, he made sure we were comfortable and happy the whole night. Our friends had a great time! We ended up shutting down the place with continued great service by Josh at the bar. Would highly recommend as it was perfect for what we were looking for!
Kira is an amazing bartender & wonderful person! she took great care of me & my large party who came to celebrate our manager moving locations. she helped me order food before it was too late & had stellar menu recommendations. i got the chicken club on a brioche bun w sweet potato fries. absolutely delicious. she also took the time to go in the back to find coffee liqueur to make me an espresso martini that was one of the best i've ever had after inquiring to my preferences. all this while it was popping! lots of happy guests thanks to the Henny's team working together. one person was taken away by the paramedics (she had some health issues, add intoxication = no bueno) but instead of being rude & dismissing her Kira did her best to help her until services arrived. we had a great time celebrating & drinks were delicious. Hennessys knows how to take care of a crowd, wild or not. thank you especially to Kira & Hennessys!
We had lunch here on a perfectly warm Saturday afternoon. Walked through the restaurant where there was live music and headed to the back outdoor bar and patio. We ordered a Guinness and a Blue Moon. They have an extensive draft beer selection. Our bartender/server was very friendly and provided great service! We ordered a cheeseburger with fries, and a Reuben with house made chips. Both arrived quickly and were great!! I especially liked the fries. And the house made chips were no slouch, either. The patio was lovely and lively. I would recommend and return!
